Pastor Jim Pittman
Senior Pastor
Pastor Jim grew up in Salisbury, NC. He is a graduate of Word of Life Bible Institute, NY; Tennessee Temple University and received his Masters in Theology from Dallas Theological Seminary. He is currently working towards his Doctor of Ministry. Pastor Jim became pastor of First Baptist in November of 2007. He and his wife Dorothy have two girls, Christina and Sarah.

Rev. Tom Anderson
Assoc. Pastor
Tom is the Associate Pastor for Pastoral Care and has been on staff at First Baptist Church since 1984. He has a B.A. from Auburn University, an M.Ed. from N.C. State University and an MDiv. from Southeastern Seminary. Tom is married to Connie and has two adult children Will and Emily.

Debbie Hammonds
Director of Children's Ministries
Prior to leading children and families as Children’s Director at FBC, Debbie served as a public school teacher in the Cabarrus County School System. She is a graduate of Appalachian State University where she earned a Bachelor of Science and Master of Arts in Elementary Education (K-6). Debbie is the wife of W. Steve Hammonds and the mother of Isaac Hammonds.

Trey Starnes
Minister of Youth.
After graduating from Gardner-Webb University, Trey accepted the call to become the part time Youth Minister at First Baptist. He loves sports, having wrestled all 4 years in high school and is an avid outdoorsman. Trey spent a previous summer as a counselor on the Appalachian Trail teaching kids to hike, camp and rappel. Trey and his wife Julie married on December 31st 2011. They make their home in Concord.

Chris Wilson
Interim Worship Leader
As a life long member at First Baptist Church, Chris Wilson steps into the role as Worship Leader in 2011. He is a trained musician and has spent many years leading the orchestra as well as playing the trombone with them. Chris graduated from Pheiffer University with a degree in Music and teaches music at West Stanley Middle School.
Janice Hannigan
Music and Education Secretary
Janice joined the staff at FBC in August 2005 as the Preschool Director, eventually moving into the position of Music and Education Secretary. She attended the University of Southern Maine where she studied Business and Communication. Her hobbies include playing the flute, exercising, and reading. Janice resides in Concord with her husband, Michael, and two children, Julia and Christopher.

Leslie McKemie
Financial Secretary
Leslie joined the staff at FBC in July 2008. She attended Lenoir-Rhyne College and is a graduate of Life Christian University. She re-enrolled at LCU in September 2011 to further her education. She is a Pastor's daughter who enjoys horseback riding, reading, gardening, and spending time with her family. Leslie resides in Richfield with her husband, Quintin. Between them, they have 7 children and 10 grandchildren.

Dorina Atkins
ABC Preschool Director
Dorina became ABC Prechool Director in 2010. She has a B.A. in Christian Education and taught 9 years in Christian schools. Dorina enjoys reading, playing the clarinet and camping. She resides in Concord and has 2 sons, Ben and Josh.
